What Morse Coach collects
Morse Coach does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or any other information that identifies you as an individual. Your practice progress is stored locally on your device using SwiftData and is never sent to Tonoz or any third party.
Three third-party services are integrated and may receive data as described below. App Tracking Transparency applies to the advertising attribution path, not to every form of product analytics or subscription processing. Tenjin attribution is initialized only after iOS has resolved the tracking-permission choice; IDFA is available to that path only when permission is granted.
Third-party services
TelemetryDeck — anonymous analytics
TelemetryDeck receives anonymized signals about app usage (for example, which lesson was started or completed) along with your iOS version and device type. This privacy-focused product analytics path does not use your advertising identifier. TelemetryDeck is designed to be privacy-preserving: signals are hashed in a way that prevents identifying individual users across sessions. No personal data is sent. TelemetryDeck privacy policy →
Tenjin — install attribution
Tenjin is used to measure whether an install came from an advertisement. Morse Coach waits for the App Tracking Transparency decision before connecting Tenjin. If you grant permission, Tenjin may receive your advertising identifier (IDFA) to match your install to an ad campaign. If you decline or are restricted from tracking, the connection proceeds without IDFA and only the provider's non-IDFA attribution and measurement signals are available. Tenjin privacy policy →
RevenueCat — subscription management
RevenueCat manages your subscription status. When you purchase a subscription, RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier and transaction data from the App Store to verify your entitlement. RevenueCat does not receive payment card information; all purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat privacy policy →
Tracking permission
Morse Coach requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission during onboarding, before the subscription paywall. This controls whether your advertising identifier is shared with Tenjin for campaign attribution. Tenjin does not connect until iOS has returned a decision. Declining has no effect on app functionality — the full Morse Coach experience is available regardless of your choice.
You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your practice data
Lesson progress, session results, and character accuracy are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to Tonoz's servers. It may be included in an iCloud backup if you have iCloud backup enabled for the app, in which case Apple's iCloud terms apply.
Children
Morse Coach is not directed at children under 13. Tonoz does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
